And Why Not?
The news is, of course, that rather than try and ineptly fail to sell my old books, I've decided to just stick them up for free.

The reason is simple: every website I know of that's successful, every one I go back to, is one that demonstrates a certain generosity of spirit rather than just trying to sell something. Comics, mpg-animations, words, are just put out there. Content is updated on time. And since I'm notoriously bad at doing anything on time, the least I can do is provide some actual content.

Getting paid is a rough and ready way of keeping score, to be sure - you know you're good at what you do when someone pays cash money for it - but there's a world of difference between cash-value and worth.

I've contributed something. I have made things that that are worthwhile in the world, and have made the world a better place, even if they're just assemblages of words and the improvements to the world are indiscernible. I've had it with false-modesty. I do good stuff. Here's my good stuff - and if anyone thinks it isn't, well, fuck 'em, frankly, because life's too short.

That is all.
